How We Make a Difference
→ AS A CUSTOMER, YOU SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE
CAMBODIA

Tanzania

In Tanzania, we have a close, trust-based partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church, which has about seven million members. We support both diaconal initiatives and preaching ministries and are involved in several development projects. Some are funded through CKU – the Centre for Church-Based Development Cooperation, which strengthens churches’ role in societal development. Projects are run jointly by LM, the expatriate workers, and the local church.
A special focus is on nomadic tribes. We aim to meet them with understanding and respect so they can integrate naturally into society and congregation without giving up their cultural heritage.
We also help run a retreat centre for marriage courses and co-own the publishing house Soma Biblia, which spreads Bibles and Christian literature nationwide.
Peru

In Peru, we have long supported a small evangelical-Lutheran church on its journey toward independence and strength. Through theological training and counselling we equip the church’s pastors and leadership—both centrally and locally.
In the city of Cusco, at the edge of the church’s area, our staff focus mainly on congregational development, while our Norwegian partners handle theological work. All in close cooperation—sustained by prayer and a longing to see the gospel take root.
GREENLAND

In Greenland, together with the Christian Students’ Union (KFS), we support important work among young students in Nuuk. We want to be present with the gospel, compassion, and care during a life stage marked by major choices and open questions.
